Hey, I admire what you are doing - you are an inspiration to all people to keep active and physically fit for an entire lifetime. Your treks make retirement sound wonderfully exciting and something to actually look forward to! Hello Coach, I'm glad you persevered once again through some adversity. I can only imagine the ups and downs, the physical and emotional struggles you have to work through on such a journey. I know you have met some great people along the way who have helped you, however, like always your drive and mental toughness have kept you going. You continue to be an inspiration to many. I look forward to reading your updates every night and I was just bragging you up to some friends and family we are visiting. In fact, we're going on a little canoeing adventure of our own tomorrow on the St. Croix River. Nothing compared to what you're doing, but with 3 little girls it will be challenging enough. Our football camp starts Monday with 104 kids coming in. The kids and staff are excited about this season. I've talked with Bruce Mathison several times now and he's coming in July 14th to do a QB/Receiver camp. As someone who grew up admiring all he did, I look forward to that. I may even challenge him to a friendly QB challenge. :) |
